- Nominations for 2nd vice chair for the area is needed by Fall meeting.-Send nominations to Bob Duggal
- Spring 2003 Session " New Trends and Best Practices in Pilot Plant" needed a new chair, Ravi Kant of Xytel agreed to be the chair. No new vice chair for the session chosen (nor nominated).
- Fall 2003 San Francisco Topical
- All sessions have chairs & co-chairs
- Topical Chair -David Edwards of Zeton, Vice Chair- Ramesh Rameswaran
- Potential Session titles were presented
- Decision to have a poster session was not made. Recommendation solicited from membership
- Pilot Plant Bench Marking Discussions
- Joe Powel and Shiah Cherney will prepare a questionnaire
- A small committee will be nominated to decide on questions
- Questions to be sent out will be presented at the June Steering committee meeting
- Approve/finalize at the Fall meeting and send out the questionnaire
- Bob would talk to Steve Coleman of Equistar Chemicals regarding Bench Marking efforts led by him for olefins production. (Equistar Chem is managed by Lyondell, Rameswaran has volunteered to establish contact between Bob and Steve)
